Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Area Go Texan Scholarship is available online at www.rodeohouston.com and must be submitted online by March 1, 2013.

The Texas Department of Transportation Scholarship application is open to students interested in a career with TxDOT. Application is available at www.txdot.gov/inside-txdot/careers/recruitment/conditional.html. Must be received no later than March 1, 2013.
Gloria S. Sale/Bryan Coca-Cola Educational Trust Scholarship application is available in the counselor’s office and the deadline is March 8, 2013.
The Texas Lyceum Leadership Award is offering 5 $2,500 scholarships to assist motivated Texas students, exhibiting leardership qualities, to attain their goals through higher education. Application is available at https://texaslyceum.hiretouch.com/ and is due March 15, 2013.
Encana Scholarship Application is available online at https://www.grantrequest.com/SID_812/Default.asp?CT=CT&SA=SNA&FID=35009&SESID=b51e6003d7264d6db9c4b0394c7dbc98. Students must be entering an oil and gas industry-related field including the Faculty of Engineering, or departments of Geology or Geophysics as examples or a technical or trades program (relative to the oil and gas industry) at an accredited university or technical institution. Eligible technical or trades programs vary but could include: Petroleum Engineering Technology, Heavy Equipment Operator or Surface Land Administration as examples. Deadline is March 16, 2013.

The Max W. Schlotter Scholarship is available in the counselor’s office for students who plan to major in education. Deadline is March 28, 2013.
Blinn Exemplary Student Scholarshipis available at http://www.blinn.edu/recruiting/scholarship.html. The purpose of the Blinn Exemplary Student Scholarship Program is to recruit superior students to the Blinn College-Brenham Campus. The scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 75 eligible students.* Amount of Scholarship: The scholarship of $1,000 per semester for 1 year ($2,000 total) is awarded to the student who meets defined qualifications.

Bremond Lodge #350 A.F. & A.M. Scholarship application is available in the counselor’s office. Deadline is April 1, 2013.
The East Texas Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Scholarship is open to prospective engineering students interested in the petroleum field. Application available in the counselor’s office and at www.easttexas.spe.org. Applications must be postmarked no later than April 1, 2013.
The Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship is available at www.midland.edu.slough. Deadline is April 1, 2013.

The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 937 Scholarship is available in the counselor’s office and must be postmarked by May 1, 2013.
Al’s Formal Wear scholarship applications are available online at www.alsformalwear.com/Scholarship. Deadline is May 13, 2013.
Bremond Chamber of Commerce Scholarship application is available in the counselor’s office and is due May 14, 2013.
Dean & Shirley Oldham Memorial Scholarship application is available in the counselor’s office and is due May 17, 2013.
The Texas Interscholastic League Foundation offers scholarships to students that compete at the UIL Academic State Meet or qualifies as an Outstanding Soloist at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest any year of their high school career. To apply, visit the TILF website at www.uiltexas.org/tilf/apply. Website is open from March 4 to May 31, 2013. If participating the TSSEC, deadline is June 28, 2013.

The Big Sun Organization Scholarship is a short essay answering the following 3 part question: What are your most important extracurricular or community activities?
