Focus on High School Art
Bremond High School Art
"I saw the visual image as seen through the waterhen's eye as it dives; the thousand concentric rings that encircle every bit of life. I saw the blue of the whispering sky that the lake drinks up; I saw the waterhen surfacing again, rapturously, in a distant spot. Do realize, my friends, what painting is: the surfacing of the image in another place."
Quote by German Expressionist Artist Franz Marc (1880-1916)
BISD Art Teacher - Lisa L. Miller
This quote by my favorite artist Franz Marc illustrates my approach to teaching art to High School students. I attempt to help them discover their artistic abilities, to tap into their creativity and develop artistic skills which will establish a life-long connection with their inner artist.
Welcome to another exciting creative year making Art at Bremond High School.
