2011-2012 School Year
Our school year is bringing many exciting adventures, as well as challenges. Making the school year a success will be one of our main goals. I encourage student responsibility fostering independent thinkers.
If you have a computer at home there are several web sites on the Elementary School's web page for your child to enjoy. To get to these sites go to Bremond's web page. Then click the Elementary School Tab at the top of the page. Scroll to the bottom for all the web site's your child can assess from home. Some require User Id's & passwords that I can provide when they are ready.
- The pyramid is our AR program. Parents can view what their child has read and the grade they received.
- The yellow link is Compass Odyssey. A wonderful new program that the students can access from home and really enjoy playing.
- Connect Ed is the new reading series web site. They can open up their virtual textbook and read the story or have the computer read the story to them. Plus lots of fun activities their to play.
- Study Island is another site they may enjoy. It is not as interactive as Connect Ed but has a huge amount of essential skills necessary for any 3rd grader.
- There is one other site, Think Central, this is the first read link at the bottom of my page.
