Youth Art Month Capitol Exhibit Entries

Middle School 7th Grader Nastasha Gouge and High School 10th Grader Allison Killgore were accepted into the Youth Art Month Capitol Exhibit which will be on display in the State Capitol during the month of March, which is Youth  Art Month. They will be recognized at a reception in late March at the Bullock Natural History Museum, in Austin. Texas’ First Lady Mrs. Abbott is usually in attendance at the event and will be making a selection of ten works of art from this exhibit for display in the Governor’s Business Office. Bremond artists have been selected four times for the Governor’s exhibit and these students were Jared Hoffpauir, Hope Viator, Katherine Hull and currently Sarah Rowan.

Wow, what a great job! The calf looks so real. Bremond certainly is blessed with some very artistic kids and a fantastic art teacher that knows how to pull it out of them. The Bremond library is filled with some very neat pieces also. Thank you Mrs. Miller for being an awesome role model.
